Living well with hepatitis C or HIV co-infection requires that one learns how to navigate through the maze of services and negotiate with service providers. The BC Centre for Disease Control’s Hepatitis Services has developed a workbook to help people prepare, practice and learn health negotiation skills. The book is a step-by-step self-learning guide to develop these skills and is available in English or French. This version was developed with and for Aboriginal audiences.
This workbook was made possible through partnerships with various First Nation, Métis and Inuit representatives and organizations; Hepatitis Services, a Division of the BC Centre for Disease Control, and with funding from the Hepatitis C Prevention, Support & Research Program of the Public Health Agency of Canada.
